skrzynka status

Purpose#

Inspect local Skrzynka state and whether the configured Skarbiec executable can be started, without resolving a credential.

Inputs and options#

Input or optionRequiredMeaning
NoneNoThis command has no command-specific inputs or options.

Global options accepted on this path are --organization <ID> (required on every command except serve, version and onboarding; none is assumed), --skarbiec-bin <PATH> (default skarbiec) and --text (print results as path: value lines for people instead of JSON).

Output and state effect#

Creates or opens the database and prints {product, version, database, schema_version, mailbox_count, enabled_mailbox_count, message_count, skarbiec_available} as pretty JSON. The Skarbiec probe runs skarbiec version; an unavailable binary is reported as skarbiec_available:false, not as command failure.

Refusals#

  • DATABASE_SCHEMA_UNSUPPORTED: database schema <VERSION> is not supported by this build (expected at most <SUPPORTED>).
  • Database creation or query failure returns INTERNAL_ERROR with fleet database operation failed: <underlying error>, preserving the failed database operation and cause rather than replacing them with a generic state-update message. The same message reaches HTTP and Desktop error surfaces. Skarbiec unavailability is deliberately not refused by this status probe.
